About Me:

     Veronica Dalton is currently a Senior at Florida State University. She is majoring in Theater: Design and Production with a focus in costume design with a minor in Political Science and Textile/Apparel Entrepreneurship. Veronica has a variety of goals post-graduation, mainly she would like to get a law degree in Fashion law and work to create a more sustainable and ethical environment within both the costume and fashion industries.

     Costume design is an intimate art that gives you a window into a characters soul and life. Veronica wants to create costumes with varying levels of character analysis within them. Everything must have a purpose and add emotional depth to a characters story. Veronica specializes in watercolor renderings with other form of mixed media within. She also does extensive research of a time period and creates mood boards accordingly.

     Veronica was the Event Director of The Closing Act: Muse a Lexicon of Time and Fashion and the Deputy Merch Director for the non-profit Muse Tallahassee. She was an Apprentice at the Glimmerglass Opera Festival for the summer of 2022 and the asst. Costume designer for the Palm Beach Shakespeare festival in 2021.
